The Academy library has over 100,000 books, mostly rare, and hundreds of Arabic, Persian and Urdu manuscripts. The current
library building is overflowing with books and does not offer proper facilities for scholars and researchers. A new building for the library is proposed. The expected cost of the library building is Rs 11 crore (US$ 1.1 million).
